The Chinese Educational Development Project, CEDP Chinese Centre, is a registered charity, founded in October 2000 and run by a team of professionals.
This project was originally set to help the Chinese community in accessing existing educational, training, culture and employment opportunities. The CEDP has continually grown over the years and now is also providing Chinese language, culture and arts inĀ UK schools.

Dr Hong Lu Phd ICT Support Teaching & Training, MA TEFL
Hong Lu is the chairman of the trustees and senior education consultant in CEDP. She has 7 years working Experience in a Chinese University as a lecturer. After gained her MA, Dr. Lu worked in the Education Department of the City Council for 6 years. She is currently working in universities in the UK. Dr. Lu is also the founder of the CEDP Chinese Centre. Her contribution to the project is very valuable.

Jin McMartin MA Applied Linguistics
Jin McMartin originally comes from China, but has been living in Brighton for the last 12 years. Mrs McMartin is an excellent teacher for EFL and Mandarin Chinese. She worked at the education department of Brighton University. She is particularly keen on the development of children's programmes involved with Chinese culture heritage and Mandarin Chinese teaching to westerns.

Lindsay Hannigan MSc Information Technology and Management
Having worked for an IT consultancy in China, Lindsay Hannigan has a good understanding of culture differences. Her strong management skills come from her experience within blue chip organisations. She is particularly keen on helping CEDP develop children related programmes. |

Yu Sun PGDip Chinese Medicine
Yu Sun has a solid background in Chinese traditional medicine practice, teaching and research. He is keen on doing research for some specific diseases. In addition, he has published 11 books, 6 videos and more than 60 academic articles on Chinese medicine. Dr Sun currently runs two Chinese medicine centres in B&H. |

Meiying Zeng is a very warm-hearted, positive and supportive person. She understands the importance to develop the community and always contributes generally in many ways to our project. |

Aizhi Song MBA
Aizhi Song is a senior engineer. He has excellent experience of engineering and management. After many years working in a leading research organisation in China he currently works in a UK communication company. Mr Song contributes his management skills to the board. |

Dongming Qin MSc Economic Geography
Dongming Qin previously worked as a student manager and lecturer in a Chinese university for 10 years. He is now director of UK International Education Alliance. Mr Qin offers his in-kind support and provides general advice and assistance in very wide dimensions to CEDP. |

Michael Rawlinson MA Chinese Studies, BA Interior Design
Michael Rawlinson's background is in commercial interior architecture. He has 5 years working with development agency in central China working in language and sex education. Currently studying Chinese media and anthropology in London. Mr Rawlinson's future projects will be focussed on development and design in China. |

Meryl Williams BA(hons) Modern Chinese Studies, PGCE
Meryl Williams is an EFL teacher with 13 year's experience. She has a special interest in promoting bilingualism and cultural diversity. She is currently working for family learning team with Brighton & Hove City Council. |

James Kibukamusoke CIMA Accountant
James Kibukamusoke is the director of Bephant Group ( a community IT training organisation) and a professional accountant. He has sound experience of helping black and minority people with IT training. He also provides his in-kind support on professional accounting to community organisation. |
