CEDP has been responsible for the operation of the Chinese Centre. Its services have expanded to the areas of education, training, culture and employment.
 
Dragon Dance and Beijing Opera performance appear on the Chinese New Year stage the first time in Brighton and Hove City.
 
Saturday Club had been a great success for children who are fond of Chinese culture and arts.
 
CEDP Culture Awareness training in educational institutes has built up its strong reputation. 16 workshops had been held during the year 2005.
 
Chinese Mandarin course has become popular.
 
Business workshops run with Sussex Enterprise had aimed to improve the Chinese community members' ability to run their own business.
   
Chinese Art Group comes closer to the community. We did three performances for anniversary celebration or Chinese New Year in famous Chinese restaurants.
   
Chinese Art Group has got their first fund from the Arts Council.
   
The first health workshops run with local Chinese Medicine Centre aimed to improve the healthy living awareness of the Chinese community.
   
Summer camp programme consisted of Experience China and Experience England was run in the summer. The former involved in organizing voluntary British native speakers to teach in China; while the latter was to arrange English study and sight-seeing activities for Chinese young people in England.
   
Monthly Friday Night party (every first Friday night) has been very popular among young people from different culture backgrounds. It is an ideal place to meet friends and have fun.
